DESCRIPTION:SCEC is partnering with Native American Cultural Encampments to offer this special event.\nGirl Scouts Day only on Thurs. July 18th\, at Waterloo County Park in Lebanon\, Oregon\, with Deitrich Peters\, a Kalapuya elder\, and his family. Girls and parents will be learning directly from Native people about culture\, crafts and lifeways.\nLearn to put up a tipi\, with the guidance Native people\, and try the big drum. Then make a beaded craft\, and watch some pow-wow style dancing.
